Speaker (with "Astonishing panorama of the endtimes" playing in the background): Marilyn Manson is also in the spotlight with a new album. The video for the first single isn't finished yet, but we asked Marilyn what the song is about. MM: "It's about the fact that particularly in America, even in other parts of the world, that if you're growing up and you're not a consumer, not old enough to vote and not old enough to be treated as an adult, then you're often considered unimportant and worthless. And that's how I felt looking back, and it's how I even feel now when people consider my opinion out of the matter in some ways. And I think I can relate to a lot of the anger that a lot of people have now trying to do something in this world." Speaker: Since Manson never wants to be like everybody else we asked him WHERE he had recorded the new album. MM: "Parts of it in my house and parts of it in a mansion that Houdini once owned." Speaker: The escape artist Houdini? MM: "Yeah." Speaker: They have a studio in his mansion? MM: "No, we built one." Speaker: You built one? MM: "Yeah." Speaker: Why there? MM: "Well, the acoustics of the house were very good and also because I guess it's an interesting little place and also something you'd be inspired by."
